This morning, argh!!

So, I will not walk to work again unless the snow (and mud and sand and oil) is good and frozen or good and gone.
There I was minding my own business, tra lala la la, walking down into the river valley while the sun rises... And across the bridge where the snow was all melty and difficult to walk on, and then the city bus goes by and showers me with sandy mud!!! ARGH!!! And all over my glasses and face and coat... ARGH!!!

Please dont you let that discourage you. Take it from someone who knows about walking amungst the trafic. Funny thing, my day is so timed that I catch the buses at a stand still a lot, but corners that collect puddles do suck; my drycleaning bills get quite high. But I have been lucky. I totaled my walking time and I have been at my job for about 60+ working days, thats 120 trips at 30min a piece for a total of well 60hours; plus I have to dodge bums.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy dictates that the bus didn't anger/frustrate you; your own self-talk and thoughts (A) about the activating Events (B) led to your actions/emotional response (c). It's a simple equation A + B = C

Just thought you'd like to know :)
